The Clevo NH70 is a 17.3-inch barebone gaming laptop chassis, originally introduced around 2019 and still sold today — resold under various brand names (including Sager, Eurocom, and SCHENKER) rather than directly as "Clevo" to most consumers. Barebone chassis like this are designed to be configured and sold by smaller system integrators rather than bought directly from Clevo. Here's what it actually offers, and how it holds up against current options.

Is the Clevo NH70 Still Worth Buying?
The honest answer is: it depends on what you're comparing it to. The i7-9750H and GTX 1650 configuration is now a dated platform — a current $700–900 laptop built around a newer GPU generation will generally outperform it in newer games and run more power-efficiently. What the NH70 chassis still offers is a desktop-replacement design philosophy: strong cooling for its size, configuration flexibility (since it's sold by integrators who let you pick CPU/GPU/RAM/storage combinations), and generally easier upgradeability than most consumer laptops.
If you're buying new in the current market, a modern RTX 40-series budget gaming laptop will outperform an NH70 configuration at a similar price. The NH70 makes more sense as a used/refurbished purchase at a meaningfully reduced price, or if upgradeability and a specific integrator's warranty/support terms matter more to you than having the latest GPU generation.
Display and Portability
The 17.3-inch Full HD panel is a reasonable size for gaming and productivity but makes this a desktop-replacement laptop rather than a portable one — at roughly 2.5kg, it's not designed to be carried around daily.
FAQs
Is the Clevo NH70 a brand I can buy directly?
Not usually — Clevo primarily makes barebone chassis that other companies (Sager, Eurocom, SCHENKER, and others) configure and sell under their own branding. "Clevo NH70" refers to the underlying chassis/platform shared across those resold laptops.
What graphics card options does the NH70 come with?
Configurations have shipped with the GTX 1650, GTX 1660 Ti, and RTX 2060, depending on the integrator and specific build.
