Sony Offered 2-Hour Trial Of ‘The Last Of Us Part 1’ On PS5 To Playstation Plus Premium Members

A remake of the iconic 2013 game, The Last of Us Part 1, was released in August. In addition to equipping the game with more modern controls, it also included an audio description in cinematic shots and haptic feedback for dialogues. Premium is PlayStation’s highest-end subscription tier, giving players access to time-limited game trials, cloud gaming, and classic games from PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3. PlayStation Plus Premium costs users a hefty amount of $17.99 / £13.49 / €16.99 per month. 

The game was offered for trial by Sony to coincide with the release of the first episode of the HBO TV adaptation series of the game. The first episode of the HBO TV series aired on January 15 in the United States and on January 16 in the United Kingdom.

The series is developed by Craig Mazin, who directed Chernobyl, and Neil Druckmann. Both have played the role of writer and director. The game was created by Naughty Dog in 2013 and released on PlayStation by Sony.

The series stars Bella Ramsey as Ellie, best known for her brilliant work as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones. Pedro Pascal is playing the role of Joel.

During the launch, Sony warned PC players that the PC version of the game ‘The Last of Us Part 1’ will be launched in March, so beware of scams in the name of the game. The game will also support Steam Deck.
